Jukka Suutari appointed CEO at Aulis Lundell LTD

1.4.2022 – Jukka Suutari, who for a bit over two Years has acted as the Marketing Director of Aulis Lundell LTD has been appointed CEO of the company and Leena Lundell takes over as the Chairman of the Board.

The manufacturer of steel products and steel based construction products, Aulis Lundell LTD, increased its turnover with approximately 50 percent last Year. The sales grew besides in Finland, also in Sweden, where the company has good resale and customer contacts.

Leena Lundell has worked as the owner and the CEO of the family business for 16 Years and has risen to be one of the top advocates for steel. – Considering the growing sales and internationalization, the appointing of Jukka to CEO is in phase with our plans. I myself will focus, as the Chairman of the Board, on the family company’s strategy and branding, which have always had an important role in my work. In addition to this, I’m also active in the board of TRY - The Finnish Constructional Steelwork Assosiation, where I want to promote steel’s position in the construction business and within the circular economy, Leena Lundell says.

We got a considerable growth boost last Year thanks to the House Exhibition in Lohja and House Pyörre (Vortex), where we could show all of Finland that the construction business can transfer to circular economy. We create growth with new projects and our highly developed products together with our strategical partners, Leena continues.

Electrical engineer attacks steel structures

Jukka Suutari is a M.o.S in Electrical Engineering and he worked for a long time in frontline companies within the electronics business before he moved to Aulis Lundell. The family company’s far developed product range and the passion for quality and customer value appeals to him.

I am intrested in the combination of steel, design, building technique, digitalisation and modular building. The product development has in the last 15 Years under Leena’s leadership brought numerous successful products to the market. For example Liune-door systems are used in quality projects in all from big city high-rises to the nicest town houses. I’m commited to this thinking, Jukka Suutari says.
